When I started blogging I’d stare at my stats. This is a really bad habit that I want to encourage you to get rid of now.
Looking at those stats can literally ruin your blog and yourself. You’ll wonder why you’re even writing. Only seeing one view for a post can be disheartening. That one view is all you need.
Not only is it disheartening but the content in your blog will suffer also. You won’t give each and every post your 100%. Whether there are viewers or not you always want to give your best.
Now when you start to gain some traction don’t lose focus. You started blogging for a reason. Whatever this reason may be remember that you started it for yourself. Don’t let the numbers overwhelm you. Don’t pay attention to them and just keep blogging as you always have.
