Whilst trying to get someone to let us do their pictures I ran into a slight problem. Competition! Another photographer had offered to take pictures for my potential client. Our prices were cheaper but theirs came with prints in the package.
I made it clear that even with the discount price the other photographer was going to give them we were going to be cheaper either way. They were still swaying back and forth on who to choose. They lowered their price again for the pictures!
It was clear these people were serious but so was I. After some talking back and forth with the potential client it comes down to one thing: Location. Depending on the location they’ll choose us or them. I’m hoping we can get this but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t.
