How To Blog: Daily Blogging

Blogging every day is a huge challenge. Even if you just do it for a week or a month it’s pretty hard. As of writing, I’m on day 86.

The thing about daily writing is that you have to be committed. It’s a lot of work and some days you’ll feel pressed for time.

It is, however, good exercise. You have to come up with a new topic every day. You have to really flex your creative brain muscle to get it done. It shows and teaches you how to come up with ideas on the fly.

If you blog every day for one whole month you’ll never think “Oh, I have nothing to write about”.  You’ll realize you wrote about something every day and had new daily content.

Here’s the problem with daily blogging. It can be stressful a lot of the time. You’ll be pushing out content on a daily basis and for newcomers, your blog could be very overwhelming. Too much content can scare people away.

However, if you’re just starting out your blog then doing it daily might be a good idea. No one even knows you exist yet. You start daily blogging and filling up your website with plenty of content to go around. You start to organize where your posts go so they don’t get lost. This makes it easier for the viewer to find what they’re looking for. BAM just like that you’ve gone from no views to 10. People have seen a post or so and realized you have a bunch of content.

This makes them keep coming back. So, there’s pros and cons but if you do it right daily blogging might be just what you need to fill up your site with content.

    1. I feel the same way. I’ve thought about stopping daily blogging and doing it a few times a week. The thought alone freaks me out. I’ve been doing this for so long it’s kind of just a routine of life at this point.
