The other day I saw a blog with the same picture I used on a post. I get my pictures off of free stock photos sites. The only problem is so does everyone else.
This made me think about the use of putting a picture. A lot of blogs put pictures but how relevant are the pictures they use?
If you’re using your own pictures that you’re taking for your blog then that’s fine. A lot of the time though if you’re just looking for free stock photos online then it’s not a very relevant picture.
There’s nothing wrong with not having an all that relevant picture I think. It honestly comes down to you as a writer and what you want for your blog.
I, however, have decided to stop using pictures.
